AutoTech Offer 4 Types of Vehicle Inspection
E-Safety Check (Pink Slip)
An e-safety check is a New South Wales registration requirement for light vehicles 5 years or older. All e-safety inspections follow Roads & Maritime Services (R.M.S) guidelines and procedures.
Safety & Identity Check (Blue Slip)
Vehicles not currently registered in NSW must have an Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection Scheme (AUVIS) inspection (previously called a blue slip) before they can be registered. The inspection verifies the safety of an unregistered vehicle, while making sure it meets design and identity standards.
Pre-Purchase Inspection
A pre-purchase inspection is normally undertaken when purchasing a used vehicle. This comprehensive inspection will evaluate the overhaul condition of a vehicle.
Diagnostic Inspection
Diagnostic inspections are required when locating the source of fault. Modern vehicles rely heavily on computers, an evaluation is normally the first stage in diagnosing any electrical fault. Further diagnostics may include computer scans and circuit testing.
